Michael B. Wojnowski, age 68; beloved husband of Betty Wojnowski, loving father of Jennifer (fiancé Jim Sauers) Danner, Dr. Charlene (Michael) Sparacio, stepfather of Peter (Tanya) and Joseph Benham, cherished grandfather of Audrey, Kelsey & Cole Danner, Nicolas & Colin Sparacio, Step grandfather of Alexander, Connor, Bryant & Joey Benham. Dear brother of Cecelia (James) Trueman, Robert (Sarah) Wojnowski & Barbara Wojnowski. He was a proud student & avid fan at Oklahoma University. Michael was well known and respected for his athletic ability on the football & baseball fields. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. He especially loved attending sporting events for his grandchildren, providing words of encouragement for them to do their best and have fun. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Rd., Oswego, IL. The funeral will be Friday, April 11, 2014 from the funeral home at 9:30 AM to St. Anne Catholic Church for a 10:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment at Spring Lake Cemetery in Aurora, IL.
