.WANDA L. KEMBER June 29, 1940 - August 12, 2017 Wanda L. Kember, 77, of Serena passed Saturday, August 12, 2017 at OSF. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria with her family by her side. Wanda was born June 29, 1940 in Ottawa to Roland & Ruth (Dickinson) Bailey. She married Jerry Kember June 14, 1959 at the Serena United Methodist Church. Jerry passed November 16, 2014. She was farmers wife all her life and had been a bus driver for Serena Unit #2 for 10 years and then worked 16 years at CTS Knights in Sandwich. Wanda loved to crochet granny square blankets for her grandchildren and taking care of her rescued dog, Shug. She is survived by her four children; Janet (Barry) Brannan of Harding, Kathy (Brad) Erickson of Sheridan, Susan (John) Morahn of Sheridan, Jeffrey (Amy) Kember of Sheridan; eleven grandchildren; Alana (Joel) Koster, Calla Brannan, Tanya (Steve) Polkowski, Blair (Kerry) Carlson, Joshua E. Morahn, Tyler A. Morahn, Franki Kember, Maddie Kember, Olivia Kember, Mason Kember, Austin Kember; six great grandchildren; Kinslee Koster, Sylvia Koster, Jack Polkowski, Lyla Carlson, Nessa Carlson, Cailyb Kember; a sister, Diana (Jay) Graham of Ottawa and a brother, Rodney (Julie) Bailey of Serena. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jerry and a grandson Mitch Nelson Morahn. Visitation will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 19th with the funeral service at 11:00 being officiated by Pastor Richard Fassig at the Gabel-Dunn Funeral Home Ltd. in Sheridan. Interment will be at the West Serena Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joshua Morahn, Tyler Morahn, Kerry Carlson, Mason Kember, Austin Kember and Joel Koster.
