Maria L. Wagner, age 80, of Oswego, IL passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 20, 1933 in Tuluca, Mexico, the daughter of the late Delfino and Augustina Rodriquez Ramirez. Maria was united in marriage on September 11, 1961, to LeRoy J. Wagner, Sr. Maria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was employed by DuKane in St. Charles, IL, retiring after 13 years. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Oswego, IL. Mom was an avid Chicago sports fan and also enjoyed watching and traveling first to her childrens' and then her grandchildrens' sporting events. Mom especially enjoyed spending summer evenings on the front porch with our dad. Maria was also preceded in death by her sister Elena Rodriguez Ramirez and two brothers Jose and Antonio Rodriguez Ramirez. Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years, LeRoy, Sr., of Oswego, IL; one daughter, Diane (Gerald) Draper of Oswego, IL; two sons, Carl of Montgomery, AL, LeRoy (Karen) of Oswego, IL; five grandchildren, Heather Wagner of Aurora, IL; Chad Wagner of Montgomery, AL; Joshua and Alexandra Wagner of Oswego, IL; Lillian Draper of Schaumburg, IL; two great-grandchildren, Madisyn and Micah Wagner of Montgomery, AL; one sister, Teresa Rodriguez Ramirez of Mexico City, Mexico; one brother Alejo Rodriguez Ramirez of Puebla, Mexico; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 9:30 am by celebrant Fr. John Ouper at St. Anne Catholic Church 551 Boulder Hill Pass Oswego, IL.
