Veronica Louise Peterson, age 93, of Aurora, IL, peacefully passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Presence Fox Knoll in Aurora, IL.  She was born May 28, 1925 in Reynolds, IL, the daughter of John and Mabel nee Curry Kelleher.  Prior to her retirement, Veronica worked as a secretary for St. Anne Catholic Church in Oswego, IL and later in the laundry department at Jennings Terrace in Aurora, IL.  She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Oswego, IL, where she was active in the Woman's Club.  In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, shopping and garage sales. She is survived by her children, Kevin (Terrey) Peterson of Oswego, IL, Kerry (Rose) Peterson of Mesa, AZ, Courtney (Joseph) Kalpake of Naperville, IL, grandchildren Shawnna Roach, Sara (Drew) Strickland, Kyle Peterson, Korey Peterson, Jessica Kalpake, great grandchildren Walker and Beckett Strickland, and the soon to arrive Mackenzie Peterson, sister Regina (Dale) Docherty, brother Leo (Doris) Kelleher. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William and a daughter Colleen. Visitation will be on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL  60543.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL  60543.  Burial will follow at Mt.
