Albert William Vannice, 84, of Sheridan died Monday, September 8, 2014 at the Sandwich Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. Albert was born August 11, 1930 in Plainfield to Harry & Dora (Dorsett) Vannice. He married Sharon (Salois) March 5, 1970 at the Sheridan United Methodist Church. He had served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and had been involved with farming all his life. He is survived by his wife Sharon of Sandwich; a brother in-law, Jerry (Anita) Salois of Sandwich and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, David Al Vannice in 2007. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Saturday, September 13th with Pastor Hyo-Sun Oh officiating at the Gabel-Dunn Funeral Home Ltd in Sheridan. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.
