Bette L Van Vleet of Oswego Il passed away, age 91, Friday August 15, 2014 at Tillers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Oswego, IL. She was born in Sandwich IL, April 6, 1923. Daughter of the late Walter "Stub" and Pearl Irene nee Bass Fritsch. She was known for her sharp wit, competitive spirit and unflagging pride in her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She is Survived by daughter Patricia (John) Calamaras of Oswego IL, son John (Susan) Van Vleet of Castle Rock, CO three grandchildren Lisa Calamaras-Domark, of Yorkville, IL Charlie Van Vleet of Santa Monica, CA and Adam Van Vleet of Brentwood, CA and great-granddaughter Zoe Domark of Yorkville, IL.
