Valancee L. Florez, 44 of Oswego passed from the loving arms of her children Briana and Aiden Avalos to the open arms of Jesus on December 25, 2019 at Rush Copley Hospital. She was born May 6, 1975 in Burbank, IL., the daughter of Rory and Barbara Florez. Valancee was an extraordinary mother and loved her children more than anything. She was well loved among the community, and brought joy to every soul she touched. She was a part of the Oswego Junior Women's Club, and enjoyed her time most when surrounded with people she loved. She is survived by her daughter Briana Avalos, son Aiden Avalos, parents Rory and Barbara Florez, sister Heather Florez, brother Gabriel Florez, and dogs Kevin, Bella, and Vito. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Violetta Florez, uncle Karl Koepke, uncle Robin Florez, and uncle Derek Florez.
