Twilla D. Hanna, age 96, peacefully passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at The Pearl of Orchard Valley in Aurora, IL. She was born March 21, 1929, in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of Clarence A. and Anna nee Sanders Mills.

Twilla dedicated her life to teaching in Aurora, Marseilles and was a substitute teacher for Oswego School. She retired from academics with her master's degree.

She is survived by her husband Robert Hanna, sons Kent (Kristi) Hanna, Jefferson (Cathie) Hanna, her loving grandchildren Anna, Joseph, Alexander, Alicia, Erin, Christopher and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Art Mills, sisters Virginia nee Mills Waggoner, and Delilah nee Mills Dewey.
