Gertrude Johanna Trendle, 94 years, of Oswego, IL died Monday, July 15, 2013 at Meadowbrook Manor in Bolingbrook, IL. She was born December 11, 1918 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Paul and Johanna nee Klipphaln Goerner. Prior to Gertrude's retirement she had been employed at the Tootsie Roll candy factory in Chicago, IL. She is survived by a daughter Michele (Ray) Keller of Aurora, IL, six sons Ronald (Susan) Trendle of Egan, MN, George (Mardi) Trendle of Essex Junction, VT, Michael (Mary) Trendle of Chicago, IL, Edward Trendle of Bridgeview, IL, Joseph (Dorothy) Trendle of Chicago, IL, William (Anna Marie) Trendle of Oswego, IL; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; two sisters Margaret Switzer of OH, Helen Striegle of Chicago, IL; also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael F Trendle, daughter Anna Marie Baraban, sister Elizabeth Gallagher, two brothers Robert and Walter Goerner. Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 Douglas Road Oswego, IL.
