Timothy Lee Beardsley, 59, of Sheridan passed Friday June 26, 2015 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice. Tim was born September 19, 1955 in Sandwich to Ernest & Grace (Wilson) Beardsley Sr. He served in the US Army from 1972 – 1976. He had been a roofer and had worked for National Tractor Parts for 5 years. For the past year he was a truck driver for the Helena Chemical Co. of Minooka. Tim truly enjoyed outdoors with his family hunting & fishing. He will be truly missed by his nephews and his driving buddy, Kale Duffy. He is survived by his son, Chad Beardsley of Morris; his siblings, Ernest A. Beardsley Jr. of Peoria, AZ, Jill Garcia of Bloomingdale, Jacques (Bonnie) Beardsley of Plainfield, Tina (Scott) Likeness of Sheridan, Jason Beardsley of Bloomingdale; Gary (Sue) Scheidecker of Ottawa, Roger (Nancy) Scheidecker of LaSalle; four nieces, ten nephews two nieces, two nephews, two great nieces and two great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; several aunts & uncles and special niece Amanda Beardsley. A gathering of friends and family will be held Saturday, July 18th from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. with a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at the Sheridan United Methodist Church. Pastor Hyo-Sun Oh will officiate. Following the service a luncheon will be served at the church. Memorials may be directed to the family. Arrangements and cremation services were entrusted to the Gabel-Dunn Funeral Home in Sheridan.
