Thomas L. Walker, 55, of Lisbon died Friday, February 20, 2015 at the Arba Care Center in Toluca. Tom was born September 15, 1959 in Morris to Vonda Austill-Walker. He was a member of the West Lisbon Church, the A.P.A. and was life long die hard Cub fan. He is survived by his five children, Crystal (fiancée, Lloyd Priebe) Walker of Sandwich, Jennifer Walker of Yorkville, Jason Walker of Aurora, Jacob Lavezzi of Marseilles, Tanya (Brian) Funk of Morris; his mother Vonda walker of Lisbon; twelve grandchildren, Emma, April, Amaya, Jake, Jasmine, Monica, Jason Jr., Xavier, Michael, Nina, Brianna, Hunter; four siblings, Nels (sandy) Walker of Boonville, IN., Sherri (Steve) Spangler of Marseilles, Debbie (Steve) Brykczynski of Lisbon and Robert Walker of Lisbon. He was preceded in death by a nephew Adam Walker. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 25 th at the Gabel-Dunn Funeral Home Ltd. In Newark. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the West Lisbon Church with Pastor Steve Lombardo III officiating. Interment will be at the West Lisbon Cemetery. The family encourages that people attending the visitation or funeral wear red & blue or Chicago Cubs apparel in Tom's honor. Pallbearers will be Jason Walker, Jake Lavazzi, Lloyd Priebe, Robert Walker, Erik Spangler, Brandon Partridge and Justin Walker. Memorials may be directed to the family.
