Thomas P. Szymborski, age 75, formerly of the Hegewisch neighborhood in Chicago, IL passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019. He was born on May 30, 1944 a son to the late Edmund and Anna Szymborksi. Thomas proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was also a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Oswego, IL. Thomas is survived by his three loving children, Kimberly (Michael) Koldras, Nadine (Michael) Szymborski – O'Sullivan, and Thomas (Ashley Lonnevik) Szymborski; seven grandchildren, Bailey, John, Lauren, Connor, Jackson, Ethan, and Weston; siblings, Patricia (Jerry) Batkiewicz, Bernadine Studniarz, Ronald (Irene) Szymborski, and Kenneth Szymborski. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Roseann, siblings Marcella Szymanski, Margaret Szymborski, Esther Smith, Lucille Dudson, Sylvester Simms, Delphine Labahn, Joanne Concannon, Edmund Szymborski, Frances Lisac, and Carol Barraia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made out to Divine Hospice and Palliative Care 234 Garden St. Yorkville, IL 60560. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY at 1801 S. Douglas Rd in Oswego, IL from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral will be at St. Anne Catholic Church on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 10:00 AM. A private burial will be held at a later date.
