Thomas Arrol Knutson, age 50, of Oswego, IL died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at his residence. He was born on December 11, 1964 in Elgin, IL, the son of John Arrol and Mary Ann nee Fink Knutson. Tom was a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a B.S. in Computer Science and was employed by Richards Building Supply in Oswego as a salesman. He also worked at the Ace Hardware on Route 71 and the Jewel on Orchard Road; both in Oswego. Tom served on the Oswego, Plainfield and Yorkville Chambers of Commerce. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family and friends. Tom was a very hard worker and devoted father, always putting his family first. He is survived by his wife LuAnne nee Birdwell (whom he married on April 28, 2001 in Wheaton, IL) of Oswego, IL, daughters Meagan Knutson of Indiana, Jessica Knutson of Oswego, IL, brother James Knutson of Wisconsin, sister Julie (Joshua) Murry of California, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Kristine Haller. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 11:00 AM until a funeral service at 3:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL.
