Thomas J. Butler, age 70, of Oswego, IL, passed away on Sunday, July 10 2016 at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL.  He was born on December 26, 1945 in Saint Paul, MN, the son of Norval and Viola nee Thomas Butler.  Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam war.  Following his service, he worked many years as a loan officer.  He loved spending time with his family and his dog Max.  He is survived by his wife of 47 Teresa "Terri" Butler of Oswego, IL, children Deanna (Charles) Oberfranc of Oswego, IL, Thomas Butler of Streamwood, grandchildren Alex and Ryan Oberfranc of Oswego, IL brother Kurtis (Pam) Butler of Wisconsin and nieces Kim Illing and Karen Achten both of Wisconsin. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister JoAnn Boake. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S.
