Tegan Hallie Zoephel, age 24, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 9, 2024 in Georgia.

She was born June 14, 2000 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Jeffrey and Kimberly Jesch Zoephel.

A proud graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2021, Tegan immersed herself in the worlds of art, theater, and music from a young age. She loved to draw and paint, took part in school theater productions both onstage and behind the scenes, and played the piano. Her passion for creativity led her to a career in television and she became a member of the Producers Guild of America.

Family meant everything to Tegan; she cherished every moment spent with them. Whether gathered together playing games and laughing or traveling both to new locations or family favorite spots, time with family filled her heart with joy.

She is survived by her parents Jeff and Kim Zoephel, sisters Brenna and Kaelin Zoephel, maternal grandparents Bruce & Doris Jesch, paternal grandmother Edna Zoephel, uncles Rick (Connie) Jesch, Matt (Pam) Jesch, aunt Janine (Jared) Lickliter, cousins Keith (Beth) Jesch, Kristen (Nathan) Rozzi, Kiara Jesch, Nicole, Lauren and Danielle Jesch, Liddie Lickliter, numerous friends, and faithful dog Scout.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Jerry Zoephel and great-grandparents.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 14th from 10:00 AM until a funeral service at 12:00 PM (Noon) at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. Burial will follow at Oswego Township Cemetery in Oswego, IL.
