Ted Raymond Tirevold, age 65, of Sheridan, IL, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at his residence. He was born September 24, 1956 in Aurora, IL, the son of Leslie and Lillian Bjelk Tirevold. Prior to his retirement, Ted worked in the armory at the Sheridan Correctional Facility. He was hard working, but always had time for his family. He is survived by his children Jeremey Tirevold (Sarah Shoda) of Sugar Grove, IL, Noah Tirevold of Colorado, Jessica (Dennis) Warren of Ottawa, IL, grandchildren Layla and Landen Tirevold, Jordyn and Lincoln Warren, Castor Tirevold, brothers Gary (Becky) Tirevold, Scott Tirevold, Karl (Julie) Tirevold, Kurt (Laura) Tirevold, sisters Eileen (Ezaka) Ballabe, Darlene Sebby, Kris Westvig and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Pamela Tirevold, brothers Randy, Rick and David Tirevold and a sister Jane Payne. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Gabel-Dunn Funeral Home, 333 West Church Street, Sheridan, Illinois 60551.
