Steven Gerard Kalinowski , age 61, of Oswego, IL died peacefully on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home of Will County after a long battle against ALS. (Lou Gehrig's disease) He was born July 23, 1953 in St Louis, MO the son of the late Eugene and Fern nee Albrecht Kalinowski. Steven was involved in sales working across the US and Europe prior to his debilitation from his disease. He was a member of St Anne Catholic Church in Oswego, IL. Steven is survived by his wife Carol J nee Stuhr Kalinowski, two daughters Iris and Rose Kalinowski both at home, two brothers David (Peggy) and Michael (Linda) Kalinowski both of St Louis, MO, a niece, five nephews, several great nieces and nephews. A private family celebration of Steven's life will be held. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the Les Turner ALS Foundation, New Era Support Services, Joliet Area Community Hospice and Sunny Hill Nursing Home of Will County for their compassionate care of Steven.
