Stephen V. Szabo, age 80, of Montgomery, IL, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born May 21, 1935, in South Amherst, OH, the son of the late Joseph and Helen nee Bestie Szabo. Stephen proudly served his country in the US Army from 1954 to 1957. Following his service, he worked 40 years as a supervisor for Aurora Metal Company. Stephen is survived by his wife of 57 years, Berta Szabo of Montgomery, IL, daughters Sharon (Laszlo) Lonyay of Montgomery, IL, Elizabeth (Dave) Rogers of Montgomery, IL, and 7 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a son Ralph P. Szabo and his sisters and brothers. A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543.
