Stephen Glenn Pool, age 79, of Montgomery, IL died on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at his residence. He was born March 15, 1942, in Ottawa, IL the son of the late Floyd G and Marie B nee Mattingly Pool. He was employed in the accounting department of Caterpillar in Montgomery, IL for 30 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Aurora Bicycle Club, served as a dog obedience judge for the AKC, showed his dogs and was fondly known to be able to fix "anything" with Duck Tape. His passion and joy were fishing trips to Canada with family and friends. He is survived by his wife Joy-Ann nee Baran Pool, a daughter Pamela (Chris) Rausch, son David (Kathy) Pool, three grandchildren Nicole Rausch, Lindsey (Tyler) Christopherson, Alison Pool, great granddaughter Willow Christopherson, sister Barbara J Pool, two nieces Dawn Eichelkraut, Marie (Danny) Bruno and nephew Chuck (Arlene) Eichelkraut.
