Stanley "Stan" Kruk, Jr., age 78, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Alden Estates of Naperville.

He was born May 2, 1945 in Chicago, IL, the son of Stanley and Veronica nee Kujak Kruk.

Stan proudly served his country in the US Army from 1964-1966. After his honorable discharge from the service, he worked for Central Steel & Wire in Chicago. In 1982, he began working for the US Postal Service until his retirement in 2008. Stan the man was a proud veteran and enjoyed being around his fellow veterans at the American Legion in Yorkville. He was a hard-working man who always had time for his loving family.

He is survived by his daughters Elizabeth Fay, Evette Wild (Greg), Edie Groseth (Mark), grandchildren Thor Groseth, Brian Wild, Sean Wild, and niece Theresa McGlynn (Tim, Alexia, John, & Josh).

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ronald and sister Sandra.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543.

We will precede to Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville, IL for the burial that will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 23, 2023. Burial will include full military honors by the US Army.
