Beloved Mother and Grandmother Shirley Ann Wilcox Age 78, continued her eternal journey with the Lord on December 27th, 2024. Shirley was born to Mildred Faust on June 29th,1946 in Johnson City,TN. She Resided in Ottawa,IL. Shirley was a Devoted, Kind and Selfless Loving Mother,Grandmother and Friend. She was a woman of God. Always praying for her family and others.

Shirley's Passions were her children, grandchildren and her chihuahua Frecshaysis and also writing poems expressing her feelings and thoughts.

She loved to sit out on her front porch with her dog Frecshaysis, her companion and best friend watching and talking with the squirrels, birds and God. All of whom were her daily visitors, she gave every animal that visited a name.

Shirley's legacy lives on through her children Elmer Wilcox Jr, Stacey Fowler, Mike Wilcox, and Randy Wilcox.

Her Grandchildren Brittani Fowler and Curt Wilcox. Her Great-Grandchildren, Isaac Ramos, Aleesia Ramos, Jayden Ramos, Gracie Ramos, Cambria Wilcox, Alayna Wilcox and Alexis Joplin, Her Great-Great-Granddaughter Alizae Romanenko and all of the children and grandchildrens Significant Partners. She is also survived by several cousins and many friends throughout her life and her most special companion Frecshaysis.

Shirley was preceded in death by her loving Husband Elmer Wilcox Sr, Beloved Mother Mildred Faust, Great Granddaughter Destinee Fowler and Son in Law Jim Fowler. As well as many cousins, friends and furbabies.

A Visitation will be held Thursday January 9th, 2025, at 11 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12:00 NOON at West Prairie Worship Center 39W550 Prairie St. Aurora, IL, 60506. Following services the interment will be at Lincoln Memorial Park 675 US-30 Aurora, IL, 60503.
