Shelby Lou Luoma, age 54 of Yorkville, IL went to heaven peacefully on Friday, October 8th 2021 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in a car while racing to the Shell Lake hospital delivered by her parents, Connie & Butch Daniel on July 31, 1967. Shelby and Scot were united in marriage on September 14th, 1991. They recently spent their 30th anniversary together. She was employed many years at Rush Copley hospital as a Cardiovascular Interventional Radiologic Technician. Shelby loved her job and her work family. She dedicated her life to helping others. Shelby loved cooking and entertaining, she had her space in her kitchen where friends and family wanted for nothing as she was the perfect host and had such a passion for taking care of others, She enjoyed many trips to their Wisconsin vacation home where outdoor activities were abundant including sledding, ATVing and hanging out at the Lodge. She also loved feeding and watching her birds. Shelby will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. She is survived by her husband, Scot Luoma and her children, Ethan and his fiancé Emily and Benjamin.
