Ruth Mary Sheets, 87, of Warrenville, formerly of Lockport and Joliet, died Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at St. Patrick's Residence in Naperville. Ruth was born January 26, 1927 in Lombard, IL., to Theodore and Anne (Schroder) Kloeckner. She is survived by a son, Phil (Mimi Poling) Sheets of Plainfield, IL.; a daughter, Pat (Rick) Warren of Warrenville, IL., four grandchildren, Gabe (Cathy Suarez) Sheets-Poling, Colleen (Shawn McElhinney) Riley, Brendan Riley, Dan Sheets-Poling; three great grandchildren, Eliana Ruth and Lucie Clementine Poling, and Logan Clyde McElhinney. She adopted in her heart, former son-in-law Gary (Lee Anne Burroughs) Riley, Step grandchildren Wally (Tracey) Warren, their son Brady, Jonathan (Siobhan) Warren , their daughters Hannah and Lydia. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clyde; and a brother Theodore Kloeckner of Lockport. Her family and friends feel so lucky that they spent as much time with her as they did. She was funny, smart as a whip, ahead of her time in so many ways, and loved without reserve. They will miss her dearly. A memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 22nd at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 5 W Washington St., Oswego Il.
