Sharon Warnecke (Stuhl), 77 of Naperville, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 28, 2020 at home with her husband Ed, the love of her life.
Sharon was born on April 25, 1943 to Fred Stuhl and Sophie Kozak in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Morton High School in 1961. In 1964, she met her husband, Ed Warnecke, and they married in 1965. Sharon worked with her husband in their family business for over five decades.
Sharon and Ed have three children: Tammy (Steve) Golab, Ed Jr. (Kim) Warnecke, Tina (Shawn) Dennehy; and seven grandchildren: Bradley (Lexi), Michael, Kaitlyn, Brittany, Garrett, Zachary, and Thomas.
She was so proud of all her grandchildren. Three of them graduated from college: Bradley (Aurora University), Kaitlyn (Northern Kentucky University), and Brittany (Texas Tech University). Michael, Garrett, and Zachary are all in the trades, following in their grandfather's footsteps. Thomas is in school to become a paramedic.
Sharon enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Some of her fondest memories include visiting her family in Florida, boating on the ocean, and taking trips to the beach.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather Peter Matuzewich, her brother Ray Stuhl, and her sister Joan Talafous.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ed, whom she was married to for 54 years, her three children, and her seven grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew her. Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
