It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shardaben Chandulal Patel, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who left this world on January 26, 2026, in Aurora, Illinois, at the age of 83. Born on October 13, 1942, in India, Shardaben lived a life rich in love, family, and devotion.

Shardaben was a beacon of strength and compassion. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Chandulal Patel, and her cherished parents, Joyitaram and Raiben Patel. Though their absence leaves a profound void, Shardaben's legacy lives on through her family, who were the center of her universe. She is survived by her devoted children: daughter Kamini (Sanjaykumar) Patel, son Bharat (Ragini) Patel, daughter Alka (Harishkumar) Patel, and son Manish (Jagruti) Patel. Shardaben was also a proud grandmother to her grandchildren: Harshit (Rajal) Patel, Hait (Tejanshu) Patel, Vraj Patel, Niki Patel, Sneh Patel, and Pratik Patel, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Throughout her life, Shardaben dedicated herself to supporting her family in every way possible. She loved spending time with her loved ones, whether through cooking delicious meals, engaging in housework, or simply being present for the milestones and everyday moments that brought joy. Her home was a sanctuary filled with warmth, laughter, and the intoxicating aromas of her culinary creations, showcasing her passion and love for those around her.

Shardaben was not only a devoted family member but also an active member of her community. Her unwavering support and kind spirit touched the lives of many, though her specific contributions to organizations remain cherished memories among those who knew her best.

As we remember Shardaben, we honor her remarkable ability to bring people together, her nurturing heart, and her steadfast dedication to her family. She taught us the importance of love, kindness, and the simple joys of life, leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
