Obituary

Listen to Obituary

With profound love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Sergio Arturo Bresino Ibarra. Born October 8, 1977 and passed away on February 15, 2026. Sergio was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend whose presence filled every room with energy, laughter, and pride.

Sergio was the beloved husband of Aurelia Leal, and a proud and dedicated father to Leslie Y. Briseno, Ashley G. Briseno, Giovanni A. Briseno, and Mateo A. Briseno. His family was his greatest accomplishment and his deepest source of pride. He constantly praised them, celebrated their successes, and never missed an opportunity to show them off.

He is also survived by his loving sisters, Ana Elizabeth Hernandez Briseno and Sairi L. Moreno Lopez (Jeffry), and his brothers, Edgar A. Hernandez (Maria Isabel), Juan M. Hernandez (Olivia A.), Francisco J. Chavarria (Maria Del Rosario), Angel E. Chavarria (Elana), Abraham Chavarria, and Angel Uriel Chavarria. He shared strong bonds with each of them and carried his love for family throughout his life.

Sergio was known for his unwavering work ethic and dedication to his goals. A natural leader who was articulate and well-spoken, he approached everything with thoughtfulness and careful attention to detail. He was hardworking and determined, always striving to provide for his family and ensure they had everything they needed. He was equally generous with others, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.

Creative, intelligent, and full of positive, high energy, Sergio had a playful spirit and was a true goofball at heart. His laughter was contagious, and his vibrant personality made every gathering brighter. He had a love for life's finer details - from his collection of perfumes to his favorite jewelry, stylish shoes, and sunglasses. He carried himself with confidence and pride.

Sergio had a deep love for cars, music, and dancing. He enjoyed Norteñas and metallic music alike, turning up the volume and filling the room with rhythm. He appreciated a good glass of tequila and took pride in cooking for those he loved - especially his famous Carne Asada. His favorite breakfast, fried eggs with beans and warm flour tortillas, was a simple joy he cherished.

Above all, Sergio was a loving husband and father whose world revolved around his family. His leadership, strength, humor, and devotion leave a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
