Myrtle B. Schmidt, 99 years, a resident of Anderson Farms, in Montgomery, IL since 1998 passed away in her sleep on Sunday, November 9, 2014. She was born October 5, 1915 in Winchester, TN. Myrtle was married to Lloyd E. Schmidt for 62 years before his passing on May 2, 1998. Myrtle is survived by her three sons, Lloyd Jr. (Hollis) Schmidt, John (Sandra) Schmidt and Alan (Dina) Schmidt; seven grandchildren, Kim (Jeff) Pippin, Troy (Lindsey) Schmidt, Tracie Schmidt, Tyson Schmidt, Aaron (Annie) Schmidt, Robert Schmidt, Jeffrey (Kelly) Schmidt; ten great grandchildren, Ashley, Steven & Carrie Nordlof, Afton Pippin, Gabriel, Corbin, Casey, Joey, Andrew and Alden Schmidt. Myrtle lived a full life playing sports with her boys, camping with her grandchildren, celebrating her 90th birthday in Las Vegas and her 95th birthday on the back of a motorcycle. Myrtle dedicated her body to science. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 4:00PM until the memorial service at 7:00PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S.
