Sandra A. Spankie, age 85, of Oswego, Il peacefully passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025 at The Pearl at the Tillers in Oswego, IL. She was born on July 7, 1940 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Florian and Loretta nee Kratoska Skora.

Sandy grew-up in Evergreen Park and worked for Advocate Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn. In her spare time she read any fictional mystery book she could get her hands on. In her youth, you found her on the back of a motorcycle, watching the scenery pass by.

She is survived by several grandchildren and her brother Tom Skora.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters Keli Hollis and Kimberly Lapinski and a sister Susan Perell.
