Sandra Paku, a loving and friendly soul, passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 62. She was known for her passion for gardening and paintings, creating beautiful pieces that earned recognition in a museum. Sandra leaves behind her sons, Daniel Paku and Joshua Paku and fiancé Dave Pollick. She was born on April 26, 1961, in Aurora, was a loving and compassionate mother who touched the lives of all who crossed her path. She was known for her carefree nature and artist skills. Throughout her life, Sandra found joy in her hobbies of painting, wood crafting, and a special passion for gardening. Her intricate woodwork and paintings, especially her famous Christmas scenes and gingerbread couples featuring her emotion of love and innocence, showcasing her creativity and talent. One of her pieces even found a place in a museum, a testament to her skill and dedication.

One of the most significant moments in Sandra's life was meeting her fiancée, Dave Pollick, a special man who loved her deeply and showed her compassion, understanding and care.

Those who knew Sandra will remember her as a devoted mother and artist, always putting others before herself. Her selfless nature and caring spirit left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Survived by her sons, Daniel and Joshua, Sandra's memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Mark Paku.

A visitation for Sandra will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service 12:00 NOON at Dunn Family Funeral Home 1801 S. Douglas Road Oswego, IL 60543.

Interment will follow at Pearce Cemetery, Oswego, IL.
