Samantha Michelle Mangers, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, niece and friend, passed away on April 28, 2025, in her hometown of Aurora, Illinois. Born on January 26, 1990, Samantha's bright spirit and caring heart touched the lives of many during her 35 years on Earth.

Samantha was the cherished daughter of Shirley (Brett) Wing and Charles Mangers. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Newey "Paul" and Rebecca Arnold, paternal grandparents, William and Edna Mangers, as well as her uncle and cousin. In her passing, she leaves behind a loving family, including her three children Hailey Dady, Sophia Modica and Caleb Modica, two sisters, Latisha Hill and Rebecca Mangers, along with her aunt, uncle, niece, and nephew. She was also engaged to her beloved fiancé, Jeremy Sloan, who will carry her memory forward in his heart.

A proud graduate of West Aurora High School, Class of 2008, Samantha pursued her passion for helping others by attending Rasmussen College, where she earned her Medical Assistant certificate. Her dedication to her work was evident in her role as a Medical Assistant for Dr. Koh in Geneva, Illinois. Samantha was always eager to lend a hand and offer support, embodying the values of compassion and service.

In her community, Samantha was an active member of AMVETS Post #103, where she participated in various events and initiatives that aimed to bring people together. She was proud of her involvement and cherished the sense of camaraderie that came with it.

Samantha had a unique fondness for the color pink, enjoyed taking photos and dancing with family which reflected her vibrant personality and her love for life. She was known for her caring and loving nature. Her laughter and joy were infectious, and she had a natural ability to uplift those around her.

Samantha's visitation will be held on May 4, 2025, from 1:00 - 4:00 P.M. at Dunn Family Funeral Home with Crematory, 1801 South Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. The family invites all attendees to wear pink in honor of Samantha, celebrating the life of a remarkable woman whose memory will forever be cherished.

Cremation was accorded the wishes of the family and a private burial at a later date.
