Russell Edward Cass, 86 years, of Millington, IL died Thursday, November 27, 2014 at his residence. He was born March 22, 1928, the son of Russell B. and Alma nee Lang Cass. Russell proudly served is country in the US Navy. Prior to his retirement, Russell worked for Federal Huber and Plano Molding in Plano, IL. He also worked many years as a cement worker with his uncle. He enjoyed playing Bingo, taking bus trips to casinos, working on tractors and mowers and collecting aluminum cans. He is survived by his wife Emma Cass of Millington, IL, children Arnold (Kathy) Cass of Elgin, IL, Frederick Cass of Millington, IL, Janet (Jim) Tomaszewski of Fountain Hills, AZ, grandsons Joey and Jonnie Tomaszewski of Fountain Hills, AZ, sister Alberta Clapper of Plano, IL and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Barbara Cass and a brother Frederick Cass. Cremation was performed in accordance to his wishes.
