IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ronnie Ernest
Kelley
January 10, 1949 – February 10, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ronnie E. "Ron" Kelley, who departed this life on February 10, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on January 10, 1949, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, Ron was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He lived a life rich in love, dedication, and kindness, leaving behind a legacy that will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Ron was the beloved son of William "Bud" Kelley and Lockie (Hisaw) Kelley. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Steve Kelley of Jonesboro, AR.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Frankie J. Kelley, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Together, they created a warm and loving home that was a sanctuary for their family. Ron is also survived by his son, Zachary (Nickie) Kelley, and his cherished grandchildren, Garret W. Kelley and Gracelyn Ronnie Kelley. Ron's love for his family was boundless; he was a constant presence in their lives, attending sports games and celebrating their achievements with unwavering enthusiasm.
Ron is also survived by his siblings: Wayne (Glenda) Kelley of Ravenden, AR, Charlie Belle (Bill) Theede of Yorkville, IL, and Avis (Anita) Kelley of Oswego, IL. He leaves behind a host of in-laws, nieces, and nephews who will carry his memory in their hearts.
Ron was a proud Marine, having served his country honorably for three years. His military service instilled in him a sense of discipline and camaraderie that he carried into all aspects of his life.
For over 40 years, Ron was self-employed with Morris Antenna, where he earned the respect and admiration of his clients and colleagues. He was known for his strong work ethic and his unwavering commitment to helping others. Beyond his professional life, Ron had a deep love for poetry, deer hunting, and fishing. He was an avid basketball fan, often seen cheering passionately at games, especially those of his grandchildren, whose triumphs were his greatest joys.
Ron was a good man who loved helping people, a characteristic that defined his life. He was always ready with a smile, a kind word, or a helping hand, making him a beloved figure in his community.
