Ron (Ronny) Allen Dierzen, 56, of Newark passed away on March 11, 2021 at Northwestern Hospital in Huntley, IL. Ron was born March 9, 1965 in Sandwich, IL, the son of the late Floyd A and RuthAnn (Chapman) Dierzen. He was preceded in death by his mother RuthAnn on December 31, 2020, his father Floyd on May 15, 2020 and his eldest brother, Louis (Louie) Dierzen on May 23, 2017. He is survived by his son Adam (Amy) Dierzen, stepdaughter Kytrina Garrett, grandchildren Jayden Brassal, Mythius Garrett, Amelia and Adaline Dierzen, brothers John (Jennifer) Dierzen and Robert (Nikki) Dierzen, nephew Caleb and nieces Emma, Isabella Dierzen, Madelin and Eloise Dierzen and his Aunt Dorothy (Jerry) Morey. After graduating from Newark High School he attended Underwater Diving School. His skill for welding and love of water brought him to an underwater welding job that moved him to the Virgin Islands, working on tourist submarines. Finding his way back to family, Ron moved back to Newark to raise his son Adam and stepdaughter Kytrina. After his kids were grown and they had children of their own, "Papa" Ron enjoyed spending time with his grandkids as they fished, played in the creek, and did all things outside. Ron enjoyed spending time and visiting with family and friends. He also had a passion for tractors. At one point having multiple himself! He loved going to Threshermen's Reunion, tractor Shows to contribute and admire all the equipment like that his Great Grandpa Dierzen had built. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 2:30 to 3:30 PM at GABEL-DUNN FUNERAL HOME, LTD. 102 South Johnson Street in Newark, IL. A private family service was held with Pastor Philip Chapman from Village Bible Church officiating.
