Robyn Mary Jones, 20, of Somonauk, IL died Friday, March 10, 2023, surrounded by her loving/supportive family after a courageous battle against cancer.

Robyn was born August 10, 2002 in Winfield, IL.

Robyn was a member of the Class of 2020 of Somonauk High School, where she was the captain of the dance team, MiDream and F.F.A. She continued to higher education at Illinois State University in Bloomington, IL.

Robyn is survived by her parents Angi and Isaac Jones, brother Dylan Jones, father Daniel (Brandy) Tunk, sister Samantha Tunk, grandparents Beatrice and Douglas Bicking, Gail and Steve Castle, Randy and Angela Jones, Peg and Bill Simpson, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Also, her faithful canine companion Gunner.

Robyn was preceded in death by her great grandparents Charles and Marie Prinzi and Aunt Katie Jones.

A gathering of celebration of Robyn's life for family/friends will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 2:00 PM until a service at 5:00 PM at GABEL-DUNN FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 333 West Church Street, Sheridan, IL.
