Robin T. Yates, age 54, of Montgomery, IL died suddenly on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at her residence. She was born April 9, 1962 in Berwyn, IL the daughter of James D and Barbara nee Klopcic Horn. She graduated from West Chicago High School in West Chicago, IL and went on to receive her Bachelor's degree in education from National College of Education (National Louis University). She was a member of Christ Community Church, Blackberry Creek Campus, in Aurora, IL. She loved camping, hiking, nature, gardening, teaching and being a mom. She is survived by her husband Hugh R. Yates, a son Brad (Lauren) Yates, a grandson Trevor, two daughters Rebecca (Jonathan) Shreves, Melissa (fiancé, Timothy Barton) Yates, her mother Barbara (Klopcic) Horn, a sister Kim (Mike) Robinson and a brother Jim (Laurie) Horn. She was preceded in death by her father James D. Horn. Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 1:30 PM until the memorial service at 2:30 PM at Christ Community Church - Blackberry Creek Campus 40W098 Galena Blvd Aurora, IL 60506.
