Robert J. Prosek, 86, of Oswego, IL, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born April 29, 1936 in Berwyn, IL, the son of Robert and Marie Prosek. Robert was united in marriage on June 4, 1966 to Carol (Zarros) and they spent the next 56 years happily together. Mr. Prosek owned and operated the Oswego Inn for many years until his retirement. Bob was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Carol Prosek of Oswego, IL, his son Michael (Vanessa) Prosek of Oswego, IL, his daughter Betty (Forest) Brooks of Winthrop, Harbor, IL, his grandchildren Matthew (Angela) Brooks, Adam (Kelly) Brooks, Nicholas (Cassie) Sajeske, Jacob (Shane) Prosek, his sister Audrey (John) Ahlefeld and 5 great-grandchildren.
