Robert Dean Myers, age 89, of Montgomery, IL died on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Amita Health Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born July 24, 1931 in Waco, NE the son of the late Otto Abraham and Leola Eveline (Nine) Myers. He was employed as a fabricator and lay-out man at Barber-Greene Co until it closed and then at Aero Welding Co in Aurora, IL. He is survived by his wife Shirley G. (Hall) Myers, four daughters Brenda (Dennis) Faul, Susan Voss, Julia (Allen) Hayes, Kimberly Castle, son Gregory Myers, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great granddaughter, a sister Mildred Dunlap, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son Robert Myers, Jr., two grandchildren Gregory Myers, Jr., Jacob Hayes, three sisters and a brother. Private family services will be held at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY in Oswego, IL. Interment will take place at River Hills Memorial Park in Batavia, IL.
