Robert Charles Miller, 66, of Sandwich, IL passed away unexpectedly on December 11, 2023. He was born August 25, 1957, in Naperville, IL, the son of Robert L. Miller and Sally Harris.

Rob was an avid sports fan. His favorite teams were the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, and the Chicago Bears. In his free time, he loved to garden and do yard work. He had the best lawn on the block. Rob listened to music constantly, always singing Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, and Bruce Springsteen and seeking recommendations from his kids for new music to listen to.

Rob was empathetic and sensitive, putting everyone else's needs before his own. He was also silly and goofy, constantly making his kids either roll their eyes or laugh. He loved spending time with his family, particularly making new memories and going on adventures with his children who were his pride and joy. He spent lots of time visiting and playing Bingo with his father in a nursing home. He adored spending quality time with his granddaughter, Charlie, who constantly made him smile. He brought her a special treat every single time he came to see her, and cherished his Mondays when he got to babysit. Rob truly had the biggest heart and cared deeply for his family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Robert is survived by his children, Morgan (Dan) Chambers, Mason Miller, Madison Miller; granddaughter Charlie Chambers; father Robert L. Miller; sisters Amy Miller, Nora Miller, Meg (Ed) Linchester; brothers Steve (Catherine) Miller, John (Gina) Miller, Ted Miller; the mother of his children Marie Miller.

He is preceded in death by his brother Paul and mother Sally.

A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023, 3:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. with a memorial service at 6:00 P.M. at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 S. Douglas Rd. Oswego, IL 60543.
