Robert G "Rob" Carpenter, 55, a lifelong resident of Oswego, IL died Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL after a courageous battle against cancer.

He was born June 26, 1969, in Aurora, IL.

Rob was a member of the Class of 1987 at Oswego High School. He was employed as the service manager for Fire Service, Inc in Naperville, IL. He was involved and enjoyed the Monster Truck Shows across the country.

He is survived by his fiancée Terri Elizondo, son Stone Carpenter, parents Mike and Margaret "Peggy" Wheeler, two brothers Keith Wheeler, Scott Wheeler, two sisters Jennifer Hunt, Bridgett Didier, also many extended family members. He was preceded by his father George Carpenter.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3:00 PM until a memorial service at 7:00 PM on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 Douglas Rd, Oswego, IL.

Cremation took place as per family wishes.

Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
