RICHARD "KLIMI" KLEINMAIER January 30, 1954 - November 7, 2015 Richard "Klimi" D. Kleimaier, 61, of Plano passed Saturday, November 7, 2015. Klimi was born January 30, 1954 in Aurora to Joseph A. & Vera L. (Clark) Kleinmaier. He was a graduate of Newark High School and had retired from the Caterpillar Tractor Co. in Montgomery and had served as a UAW Union Steward. After retirement he dedicated himself to taking care of his farm and loved to be surrounded by his friends who he also considered his "Family". Klimi was the biggest Cubs Fan ever known, next to Harry Caray. He is survived by his son, Aaron Kleinmaier of Plano and his many friends who will love him always and miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Clark A. Kleinmaier & J. Roger Kleinmaier. A gathering will be held from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. with remembrances by family & friends on Saturday, November 21st at the Gabel-Dunn Funeral Home Ltd. 102 S. Johnson St. Newark, IL. 60541-0623.
