Richard A. Black, age 74, of Oswego, IL passed away June 27, 2017 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born June 18, 1943 in Chicago, IL, the son of Robert and Julia nee Bartolini Black. Richard retired from AlliedBarton Security Services and was currently employed by Universal Security providing security for the DuPage County Courthouse in Wheaton, IL. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Oswego, IL. He is survived by his wife of almost 30 years Carol Black of Oswego, IL, children James "Jim" (Kimberly) Black of Batavia, IL, Kimberly (Thomas) Jacobs of Riverside, IL, Dana (Anthony) Fumagalli of Plainfield, IL, Scott (Christine) Filer of Lisle, IL, grandchildren Alexis Black, Nathan Black, Josephine Jacobs, Nicholas Jacobs, Gina Fumagalli, Michael Fumagalli, Anthony Fumagalli, Ryan Filer, MacLaine Filer, Henry Filer, Margaret Filer, Miriam Filer and a sister-in-law Margaret "Peggy" (Michael) Fidell of CT. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister JoAnn Black. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL 60543.
