Rebecca Jean "Becca" Leggett, 40, of Millington, IL ended her long courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, April 18, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 3, 1981 in Austin, MN. Becca attended Helmar Lutheran Church in Lisbon, IL. She was a member of the Class of 1999 of Aurora Central Catholic High School, at Waubonsee Community College she attained her certification as a Medical Coder and applied that education with employment at Dreyer Medical Clinic in Aurora, IL. Her ultimate goal was to become at X-ray Technician which she started but her illness prevented her from attaining that goal. She is survived by her husband Justin H Leggett (Whom she married on September 6, 2001) her daughter Madison "Maddy" Leggett, son Samuel "Sammy" Leggett, future grandson due in July, mother Linda Stadheim of Rochester, MN, father Gary (Mary Ann) Smith of Sugar Grove, IL, sister Heather (William) Howard of Memphis, TN and brother Jeremy (Lindsay) Smith of Goodyear, AZ. She was preceded in death by her brother Matthew Smith. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 12 noon at the Helmar Lutheran Church, 11935 Lisbon Road, Newark, Illinois 60541.
