Raymond D St. John, 81, of Montgomery, IL and formerly of Jasonville, IN died Thursday, November 15th in his home surrounded by many loved ones and friends.
He was a retired brick layer, but never retired from his role of faithful servant of the Lord. He was born in Jasonville June 29, 1937 to Harry St. John and Della Phipps St. John.
He is survived by his faithful wife, Sandra L. St. John; and children David (Debbie) St. John, Kerry St. John, Cathy Applington and Joy (Shane) Lewis, 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Services are 4 p.m. Sunday, November 18, at New Hope Baptist Church, 4101 Needham Rd, Plano, IL.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be directed to New Hope Baptist Church, to be distributed to various mission endeavors through New Hope, Somerville Baptist and OneWay Ministries. Ray's enduring heart for missions and his Lord are the legacy we live today.
