Randolph (Randy) E. Gatz, age 41 years of Aurora, IL died Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL. He was born September 29, 1973 in Arlington Heights, IL. Randy worked as a shipping and receiving specialist at Exel Logistics Co. for many years. He enjoyed listening to music, ball games, especially the CUBS, and he loved the water, beach and swimming. He was a member of Pi Lamda Phi fraternity. He is survived by his parents Charles and Sharon (nee Salch) of Hernando, FL, a sister Laura (Dr. John, USN) de Geus of Ridgecrest, CA, his brother Peter (Joy) Gatz of Oswego, IL, two nieces, Mackenzie and Allie Gatz, two nephews Levi and Max de Geus, and grandmother Helen Salch of Bloomington, IL, also many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles Salch, Charles and Pauline Gatz and uncle Steve Salch. Visitation will be on Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour of 3:00 p.m., August 15, 2015 at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Rd., Oswego, IL 60543.
