Preciliano Cepeda, age 82, of Aurora, IL, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at his residence. He was born February 6, 1934 in Durango, Mexico to Leodegario and Francisca nee Zoza Cepeda. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Aurora, IL. He was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed watching games between his naps. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Micaela Cepeda, children Hilario (Maria) Cepeda, Carlos (Maria) Cepeda, Sofia (Jesse) Vargas, Pedro (Lupe) Cepeda, Esther (Alvaro) Cuevas, grandchildren Jaime, Lisette, Christina, Erica, Carlitos, Cindy, Pedrito, Jessica, Daisy, Roberto, Elizabeth, Maribel, great-grandchildren Tati, Becka, Isabella, brother Juan Cepeda and sister Senaida Salgado. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters Felipa, Apolonia and Adela. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 620 5th Street, Aurora, IL 60505.
