Phyllis M. Acuff, age 85, of Streator, IL, formerly of Aurora, IL, peacefully passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 14, 1931 in Prairie du Chien, WI, the daughter of Lawrence E. and Thelma M. nee Wenigar Standorf. She was a member of the Rivers Edge Fellowship in Montgomery, IL. She was a co-owner of The Happy Steer restaurant in Amboy, IL. She loved to play dice and take care of her family. She is survived by her children Michael (Monica) Acuff of LaMoille, IL, Karen (Craig) Koesler of Streator, IL, Wanda (Kevin) Stone of Oswego, IL, grandchildren Shawnna (Jay) Roach, Heather Acuff-Foster, Bruce (Keisha) Acuff, Jeremy Koesler, Aimme Haack, Elizabeth (Robb) Watson, Luke (Julie) Koesler, Quentin (Gwen) Koesler, Kelly (Michael) Biebel, Kristopher (Michelle) Stone, 22 great grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter, sister Marilyn Moody of IA, brothers Wayne (Edie) Standorf of Aurora, IL, Keith (Kathy) Standorf of WI, sisters-in-law Betty Standorf of WI, Rosie Acuff of Aurora, IL, brother-in-law Gerald (Mary) Acuff of FL, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bruce T. Acuff, great-granddaughter Chantilly Koesler and a brother Lawrence E. Standorf, Jr. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 10:00 AM until a funeral service at 12:00 Noon at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S.
