Peter Arden Wandt died of Cancer the 17th of September surrounded by family. Viewing will be on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the LDS church in 1411 95th St. Naperville, Illinois from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. There will be a short viewing at 9:30 – 10:30 am on Wednesday the 23rd with a Memorial Service to follow from 10:45-11:45am. Peter was born January 15th, 1945 to Anne Bucher and Henry Wandt Jr. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is second of six boys, Jeffrey, Tom, David, Paul, and Mark. Peter married, fathered three children (Suzy, Kelly, and Matthew) and divorced. He became an international sales representative for construction equipment companies and his travels led to meeting his second wife Miriam Wandt in Puerto Rico in 1969. When he retired he became a bus driver for Oswego District 308 and last year was thrilled to drive his granddaughter Sophia to and from her Kindergarten school. Peter also worked at Fox Bend Golf course where he golfed and golfed and then golfed more. He loved golf, he loved people, and he loved a great deal. Peter is survived by his wife Miriam Wandt. His oldest daughter Michele Ratini, son in law, John Ratini and their two children Sophia and Paolo. His son Nickolas Wandt and his son Alexander Wandt. He is survived as well by his brothers Jeffrey, Tom, David, Paul, and Mark. His family feels great solace in knowing that he is met in Heaven by his daughter Heather Katherine Wandt who passed away in 2013.
