Peter Joseph Becker Born: October 6, 1983 Died: July 3, 2017 Pete, age 33, passed away July 3, 2017 after a long, hard-fought, battle with addiction. Pete grew up in Oswego, IL. He graduated from Oswego High School in 2002 and Motorcycle Mechanics Institute Orlando in 2011. He had a variety of jobs that included forklift driving and carpet installation, but most recently was employed by Doors By Russ, a job he especially enjoyed. When he was not working he enjoyed spending time with his family, biking with his children, reading science fiction, and trying new recipes. Pete was a loving Father whose two children were the center of his life. Madi especially loved challenging him in a chess game and having him help her improve her baseball skills. Jaxin loved when Dad read and cuddled with him before bedtime. He is survived by his two children, daughter Madilyn Becker (8) and son Jaxin Becker (2), mother D. Diane Paydon Becker, sister Megan Mileham (Rob), nephew Ethan Mileham, niece Kendall Mileham, and many other relatives on both the Becker and Paydon sides. He was proceeded in death by his father, John Paul Becker, along with his paternal and maternal grandparents. Friends are invited to visit from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Saturday July 8, 2017 at Wheatland Presbyterian Church 11839 S. Heggs Rd. Plainfield, IL 60585. All are welcome to stay for a 4:00 PM service to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be left for his children.
