Lois Marie Peter, age 48, of Oswego, IL died Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. She was born on August 5, 1965 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Marvin LeRoy and Alma Joanne nee Coop McCullough. Lois worked for over 25 years as a manager for the Wheaton Eye Clinic. She is survived by her mother Alma Joanne McCullough of Montgomery, IL, husband Randy (whom she married on June 22, 1991 in Oswego, IL), step-son Craig (Jamie) Peter of Alton, IL, daughter Renee Peter of Oswego, IL, son PVT Reese Peter of the USMC, stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA, granddaughter Norah Peter of Alton, IL, sister Judy (Jon) Dhuse of Chandler, AZ, many nieces, nephews and cousins, and her beloved pets Tess, Payton, Bear, Dante and Sophie. She was preceded in death by her father, maternal grandparents Glen & Alma Coop and paternal grandparents Columbus & Roberta McCullough. Memorials may be made to 4 Paws 4 Life. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until time of memorial service at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Neighborhood Church of the Brethren, 155 Boulder Hill Pass, Montgomery, IL. 60538.
