Patricia J. Komes, age 70 at rest peacefully on August 3, 2023, at Central DuPage Hospital with her family by her side.

She was born January 8, 1953, in Aurora, Illinois the daughter of the late Jacob and Helen (nee Kroptovich) Allway.

Patricia is survived by her daughter Amanda (Dan) Kuntz; her son Benjamin (Tricia) Hook both of Millington, IL, sister, Kathy (Jim) Gates of Aurora, two brothers, Jerry (Betty) Allway of Glasgow, KY, Ron Allway of Glasgow, KY and sister-in-law, Nancy Allway of Aurora, IL. grandchildren, Jacob, Payten and Tyler Kuntz, Logan, and Cameron Hook all of Millington and Steve's children and grandchildren.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jacob "Jim" Allway and son, Steven Gyovai III.

A Memorial Gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 P.M. at Gabel-Dunn Funeral Home 102 S. Johnson Street Newark, IL 60541.

Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of the Gabel-Dunn Funeral Home.
